Reliance Matrix becomes an Official DEI Partner
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. March 8, 2024 - The Epson Tour announced today a new multi-year corporate partnership beginning with the 2024 season. Reliance Matrix, a Philadelphia-based insurance and absence management company, will enter the women’s golf space as an Official Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Partner through 2026.
“We are thrilled to announce Reliance Matrix as a partner for the 2024 season and beyond,” said the Epson Tour’s Chief Business and Operations Officer Jody Brothers. “This partnership will greatly improve the overall Tour experience, with Reliance Matrix further lowering entry fees for our athletes. What this company will provide for our athletes through partnership helps level the playing field financially, which for some athletes may be the small edge they need to achieve their ultimate goal of graduating to the LPGA Tour.”
In addition to reducing costs for athletes, Reliance Matrix will invest in LPGA and Epson Tour athletes as brand ambassadors and utilize the LPGA ecosystem for educational and hospitality opportunities as well as brand awareness.
“We see diversity, equity and inclusion as a key element of our success, both today and in the future,” said Chris Fazzini, President of Reliance Matrix. “Aligning with the Epson Tour as a DEI Sponsor is an extraordinary opportunity to advance the conversation, but more importantly to effect real, positive change for a generation of talented athletes worldwide. We are looking forward to developing this relationship and sharing it with our stakeholders.”
Epson Tour entry fees have been lowered by 30 percent over the past two years, thanks to partners Seiko Epson Corporation, Accenture and now Reliance Matrix. Previous corporate partners, who will continue to impact the Epson Tour in 2024 as Official DEI Partners are Epson and Accenture. Additionally, as announced in January, Rhone will serve as the Exclusive Official On-Course Apparel Partner.
