The Self Regional Healthcare Foundation Women’s Health Classic will be Kim Kaufman’s last Epson Tour event.
After finishing T4 at the North Texas LPGA Shootout, she shot up to 54th on the LPGA Tour money list and is 93rd on the priority list after the reshuffle. She will play on the LPGA Tour the rest of the 2014 season.
“It was amazing, I’m not sure I’ve really digested it yet, but it changed my career and changed my summer,” said the 22-year-old.
“This will be my last Epson event, which I’m still excited about, but I’m ready to move on to the next step.”
Kaufman will tee off in the 8:30 a.m. group from the tenth tee on Thursday in her last Epson Tour event.
“It’s a new event and it has become the biggest on the schedule and I just thought that I want to come and see what it is all about,” said Kaufman. “I had planned to play here and there is no reason for me not to do it, the LPGA is off and I’m excited to be here.”
