Karen Chung
Chung is coming off a top-10 Epson Tour finish, which plays into her back-to-back top-15 finishes in the past month. She placed 14th at the IOA Golf Classic presented by LPT Realty, and T9, most recently, at the Inova Mission Inn Resort & Club Championship. The New Jersey native returns to the Carolina Golf Classic presented by Blue Cross NC for the second year in a row, following a T37 at the 2021 event. In her career, Chung has recorded 14 career top-10 finishes.
Lori Beth Adams
Adams will make her third “Road to the LPGA” start of the season at the Carolina Golf Classic. Her career highlights consist of 14 top-10 finishes, one of which was a T5 in this event in 2021. So far in 2022, Adams has recorded 17 sub-par holes, ranking 152 on the list of birdies. The University of North Carolina Wilmington graduate could find her rhythm this week in familiar surroundings.
Auston Kim
Coming off her pro debut at the US Women’s Open, Auston Kim will make her first start on the Epson Tour at the Carolina Golf Classic presented by Blue Cross of NC. Kim also earned an invite to the 2022 Augusta National Women’s Amateur Championship. The fifth-year senior at Vanderbilt University had three collegiate top-10 finishes in the 2022 season, including the FAU Paradise Invitational, SEC Women’s Golf Championship, and NCAA Franklin Regional.
