Louise Ridderstrom
Ridderstrom is coming off a T5 finish at the Carolina Golf Classic presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina. Earlier in the season she placed T19 at the IOA Championship, making the Carolina Golf Classic her second top-20 finish of the 2022 season. Ridderstrom has made five cuts in six starts this season. The Swede totals one career victory and 5 career top-10 finishes.
Lindy Duncan
Duncan returns to Travis Pointe Country Club for the first time since 2018 and for the fourth time of her pro career. The Florida native made appearances in the 2016, 2017, and 2018 LPGA Volvik Championship, placing T11, T16, and T4 respectively. This season, Duncan has two top-20 finishes. She’s coming off a T11 at the Carolina Golf Classic and placed T19 at the IOA Golf Classic in May.
AJ Newell
Former LPGA Tour and Epson Tour member, AJ Newell, makes her return to the professional stage after stepping away from the game in 2020 due to injury. Like Duncan, Newell has also played a pro event at Travis Pointe Country Club - she missed the cut at the 2019 LPGA Volvik Championship. Her professional golf accomplishments include three career-top 10 finishes on the Epson tour and is now the assistant coach for the University of Michigan women’s golf team.
