After the tenth tournament of the 2021 Epson Tour season, the Race for the Card rankings takes a shuffle after the Prasco Charity Championship at TPC River’s Bend in Maineville, OH.
For the tenth consecutive week, Ruixin Liu (Guangdong, People’s Republic of China) maintains the No. 1 spot in the money list with the help of two wins so far this season and earnings of $71,017. Fatima Fernandez Cano (Santiago, Spain) moves up into No. 2 and has earned $66,767 this season after seven top-10 finishes in 10 starts. Maude-Aimee Leblanc (Sherbrooke, Quebec) follows right behind after her third top-10 finish in a row in Maineville and winnings of $63,078.
The 2021 Island Resort Championship winner, Morgane Metraux (Laussane, Switzerland) checks in at No. 4 and only $609.00 behind Leblanc with $62,469. Lilia Vu (Foutain Valley, California) stays at No. 5 with season earnings of $50,902. Following her first win on the Epson Tour and taking home a winner’s check of $26,250, Meghan MacLaren (Wellingborough, England) climbs the rankings to No. 6.
“There are a lot of unknowns when you start the season in March with 20 events in front of you. Whether you get early success or not, it’s so crucial to be able to take what you need from each event while still maintaining your confidence,” said MacLaren. “I’m delighted to have turned that into a victory and take a little bit of pressure off. But again, the end of the year is all that really counts.”
IOA Golf Classic presented by RP Funding winner Allison Emrey (Charlotte, North Carolina) currently sits at No. 7 with $43,248 and trailing right behind is Samantha Wagner (Windermere, Florida) who claimed her ninth career top-10 at the Island Resort Championship. Joining the group at No. 9 is University of Georgia grad Bailey Tardy (Norcross, Georgia) with $41,800. Road to the LPGA rookie Sophie Hausmann (Nottuln, Germany) completes the top-10 list with season earnings of $41,632.
At the end of the season, the top-10 players in the Race for the Card standings will graduate onto the LPGA Tour for the 2022 campaign.
