Crews worked overtime all day Friday at Windsor Golf Club to remove two plus inches of water from the golf course and they also had to fix washed-out bunkers from overnight storms Thursday into Friday. The course underwent an impressive transformation over 24-hours so play began on time on Saturday at 7:30 pacific time.
Tour officials decided on Friday that the POC Med Golf Classic would now be a 36-hole event instead of 54-holes due to the wash out on Friday.
The tournament is expected to conclude on Sunday, April 9 and money earned will be official if 36-holes are played.
