Nanna Koerstz Madsen, Sierra Sims, Sara-Maude Juneau
Group 13 – 1st Tee – 8:36 a.m.
Nanna Koerstz Madsen arrives in Decatur as the only two-time winner in 2017 and current leader on the Volvik Race for the Card money list. Having been disqualified last week in South Bend for failing to sign her scorecard, she’ll be looking for redemption and a chance at her third win. She’s grouped with rookie Sierra Sims and Sara-Maude Juneau during the opening rounds. Sims makes her third start of the season and first in Decatur. This week, Juneau is making her fourth start in Decatur after finishing tied for 22nd at the Four Winds Invitational.
Kendall Dye, Kyung Kim, Emily McLennan
Group 16 – 10th Tee – 8:47 a.m.
Fresh off a win at the Four Winds Invitational, Kendall Dye arrives in Decatur looking to become the second two-time winner in 2017; she is currently sixth on the Volvik Race for the Card money list. She will play alongside rookies Kyung Kim and Emily McLennan (not pictured) on Friday and Saturday. Kim has one top 10 in four starts this season and will be making her first appearance in Decatur. This week, McLennan makes her fifth start in 2017 and first start in the Decatur-Forsyth Classic.
Gabriella Wahl, Michelle Piyapattra, Madison Pressel
Group 28 – 10th Tee - 12:31 p.m.
Gabriella Wahl (not pictured) is making her second career start at this week’s Decatur-Forsyth Classic where she missed the cut in her first appearance. She is paired with second-year member Michelle Piyapattra and 2015 champion Madison Pressel in the opening rounds. Piyapattra is making her second start in Decatur after finishing T-6 at the Four Winds Invitational for her fourth career top 10 on Tour. In Pressel’s two appearances at the Decatur-Forsyth Classic, she earned her first professional win in 2014 and finished T-25 2016.
Veronica Feilbert, Clariss Guce and Taylor Kim
Group 41 – 1st Tee – 1:48 p.m.
Veronica Felibert is making her fifth start in Decatur with her best finish T-13 coming in 2011. She is paired with defending champion, Clariss Guce and rookie Taylor Kim in the first two rounds. In 2016, Guce fired a three-day score of 10-under to win by two shots and is now in search of her first top 10 of the season. This week, Kim makes her first start in Decatur.
