Anne-Catherine Tanguay won on the NWGA Tour (previously Suncoast Tour) at Victoria Hills Golf Club in DeLand, Florida. Tanguay lead the tournament from start to finish carding a 68 (-4) in the first round followed by two sub par rounds of 71-71 for a 210 (-6) total. ''I set myself some good process goals for the week and stuck with it,” said the former All-American at Oklahoma. "This is still pre-season for me and I am working hard towards getting ready for the busy season ahead. I am extremely happy with the way things turn out this week and will be using this experience as a stepping stone for my career.''
Tanguay had a strong rookie season on the Epson Tour in 2015. She posted three top 10 finishes and closed 37th on the Volvik Race for the Card money list.
Tanguay will be competing in the Monday Qualifier for the Coates Golf Championship on February 1st in Ocala, FL. She will split time between the LPGA Tour and the Epson Tour in 2016.
