Erynne Lee (Silverdale, Washington) played 26 holes on Saturday and stands in sole possession of the lead at 7-under, 137 after a 1-under, 71 in her second round. Lee made four birdies and three bogeys in her second round and two eagles in her first round including one during the resumption of play on Saturday morning. Lee is a rookie on the Epson Tour and was an All-American at UCLA.
She won the season opener (IOA Championship) and currently ranks 15th on the Volvik Race for the Card money list with seven events left.
We asked Lee five questions to get to know her a little better.
1. | What is your favorite sport other than golf? Tennis |
2. | What is your superstition? I used to not play Titleist #3 because I didn’t want to think about three putting. When I came on the Epson Tour, that is all I had so I started playing them and I won the first tournament so I don’t have the superstition anymore. |
