Over the next several weeks LPGA.com will take a look back at Epson Tour players landing inside the top-10. This edition of the 'Meet the Epson Tour Grads" features Perrine Delacour. She had four top finishes including career best second place finish at the Epson Tour Championship. She finished ranked No. 9 in the Volvik Race for the Card and earned LPGA status for the 2014 season.
A Fight to the Finish
It was a fight to finish in 2013 as players jockeyed to land inside the top-10 on the Volvik Race for the Card. With 10 LPGA Tour cards on the line, Perrine Delacour found herself on the outside looking in heading into the season finale at No. 20 in the Race.
While Delacour was a rookie on the LPGA Tour in 2013, she only competed in one event and devoted the year to playing a full Epson Tour schedule.
The decision of playing the entire year on the Road to the LPGA would prove to be a wise one as the Frenchwoman finished runner-up in the year’s final event to land No. 8 in the Volvik Race for the Card.
