With her win this past Sunday at the Chico’s Patty Berg Memorial, Min Seo Kwak entered the top-10 on the Volvik Race for the Card money list for the first time this season. The $15,000 payout for her win moved her into fourth place on the money list with $19,556.
The win was her first on the Epson Tour in her 65th career start.
Kwak is an established player with LPGA Tour experience. She played in seven LPGA Tour events in 2012 and five starts in 2013.
Kwak used four consecutive birdies on the back nine to seize control of the event and won by three strokes over Stephanie Na. Kwak’s three-day total was 7-under-par 209.
Kwak will look to become the first repeat winner on the Epson Tour this season.
