One of the most consistent players on the Epson Tour this year has been Laura Gonzalez Escallon. She has finished in the top-25 in all four events and has two top-10 finishes on her resume already.
Gonzalez Escallon finished in a tie for eighth at the Florida’s Natural Charity Classic and placed in a tie for tenth at the most recent event, the IOA Golf Classic.
The Epson Tour rookie ranks sixth in scoring average (71.455), tenth in sub-par rounds (5/11), second in par-4 average (4.0) and tied for tenth in total birdies (36).
Escallon is currently 13th on the Volvik Race for the Card money list with on-course earnings of $6,739 through four events. She ranks second on the money list amongst Epson Tour rookies.
Escallon played college golf at Purdue University where she was named the Big Ten Player of the Year following her junior season in 2012. She was a three-time First-Team All-Big Ten performer and a two-time Second-Team NGCA and Golfweek All-American.
