Brittany Altomare
Brittany Altomare was one of the most consistent performers over the last two tournaments. She finished in a tie for sixth at the Florida’s Natural Charity Classic and a tie for eighth at the IOA Golf Classic.
This weekend in Longwood, she had back-to-back under-par rounds to finish in the top-10. She fired a 3-under-par 68 in round two and a 2-under 69 to close the event.
Altomare is now just outside the top-10 on the Volvik Race for the Card money list at $7,264 in earnings. She ranks 12th on the money list and has played in three of the four events.
The 2013 ACC Player of the Year at Virginia made the cut in all six events she played in last year including one top-10 finish.
She now has three top-10 finishes in just nine career Epson Tour events. She has made the cut in all nine events played.
Altomare has positioned herself very nicely for a run at the top-10 on the Volvik Race for the Card money list and an LPGA Tour card for the 2015 season.
