Daniela Iacobelli
Daniela Iacobelli heads into the Wildhorse Ladies Golf Classic as the defending champion and the only champion of the event. Iacobelli won the inaugural event in 2022 with an impressive total of -18. Iacobelli has had a good run of form since her T6 finish at the 2023 Champions Fore Change in early June, making her last seven cuts. The two top-10 finishes for the season have Iacobelli inside the top 40 on the money list coming into the season's final stretch. The four-time Epson Tour champion has a chance to make it a handful of wins with another strong performance at Wildhorse Golf Course this week.
Lindsey McCurdy
Lindsey McCurdy is going on an up-and-down season but finds herself in a good position heading down the stretch. McCurdy has two finishes in a tie for third place at the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Championship and the Casino Del Sol Golf Classic. Since the third-place finish at FireKeepers, McCurdy has only missed one cut and is coming off a top-15 finish heading into the Wildhorse Ladies Golf Classic. McCurdy also had a solid performance at Wildhorse Golf Course in 2022, finishing in a tie for 21st, with all three of her rounds being under par. A solid performance this week could set McCurdy up for one of her best seasons on the Epson Tour since joining the tour in 2018.
Heather Lin
Heather Lin rounds out the players to watch, heading into the WildHorse Ladies Golf Classic. The Epson Tour rookie made herself known in her first tournament on tour this year, finishing tied for fourth at the season-opening Florida's Natural Charity Classic. Since then, Lin has four top-20 finishes this year, putting her inside the top 40 on the Epson Tour Official money list. A top 35 finish on the money list at the end of the year will earn Lin a spot in Q-Series and an opportunity to earn LPGA Tour membership for the 2024 season. The University of Oregon grad is coming off a top-10 finish in South Bend, with it being her only tournament she did not record an over-par round. Lin's game seems to be rounding into form at the perfect time of the season.
