A Symetra Tour season full of wins and top 10s concluded with ten new players earning LPGA cards for the 2018 season.
For the first time in Symetra Tour history, three players surpassed $100,000 in season earnings; with only five players in Tour history having earned over $100,000 in a single season.
Benyapa Niphatsophon, a Thailand native, topped a diverse group of players this year which also included players from Australia, France, Denmark, Canada, China and the United States.
While it is certain each was more focused on their game and finishing inside the top 10 on the Symetra Tour money list than where they sat in the world rankings, many made significant moves this year in the rankings with their outstanding performances.
Niphatsophon, Celine Boutier, Lindsey Weaver and Katelyn Dambaugh each jumped more than 300 spots in the rankings. Nanna Koerstz Madsen, the highest-ranked player in the top 10 for Symetra Tour, is the second highest ranked player from Denmark behind LPGA Tour member Nicole Broch Larsen.
