DAMBAUGH MOVES TO 11TH ON MONEY LISTKatelyn Dambaugh didn’t have her best stuff on Sunday, but she still managed to finish in second place to move from 16th to 11th on the money list.
“Today was tough for me,” said Dambaugh, who has only played in nine events and has five top 10’s. “I hit some good shots that didn’t end up where I thought they would. I did my best so that is all I could ask for.”
Dambaugh was humble in defeat.
“It was fun watching AC (Anne-Catherine) play today,” said the former South Carolina star. “She did amazing and I’m so happy for her.”
Incredibly, Dambaugh is now just $64 outside the top 10. No. 10 Daniela Darquea (Quito, Ecuador) has earned $47,557 while Dambaugh has earned $47,493.
“The results today are what was in God’s plan and knowing that makes me feel good about where I am and what’s ahead for me.”
EMMA TALLEY CROSSES 60K IN EARNINGSEmma Talley carded a 2-over, 74 to finish in solo third. The $10,312 prize gets her to $60,214 earned in 18 starts.
“It was such a hard week and I was very pleased with my game,” said Talley, who still ranks seventh on the money list. “I got a lot of confidence back this week and I’m excited for the next few weeks. It’s not over that is for sure and I just have to keep going.”
Talley is skipping the Murphy USA El Dorado Shootout next week and playing the final three tournaments of the year. Next week will be the first tournament that Talley has skipped this season.
