In 2012, Stacy Lewis made a powerful charge in the final round to beat second-round leader Bo-Mee Lee by one stroke at the Mizuno Classic. Lewis sat seven shots behind Lee entering Sunday’s round but carded 10 birdies and two bogeys to finish at 8-under par 64. The Texan posted rounds of 71-70-64 to finish 11-under 205 for the week. This marks her fifth-career victory and her fourth this season.

With 144 players set to tee-it-up in the LPGA’s first-ever trip to the Bahamas, several Symetra Tour alums are coming off solid finishes at last week’s Mobile Bay LPGA Classic including tournament winner, Jennifer Johnson.
Jennifer Johnson shot a final-round 7-under 65 to become a Rolex First-Time Winner at the Mobile Bay LPGA Classic. The Carlsbad, Calif. native carded rounds of 67-70-65-65 to break the tournament record with a 21-under par 267 total and finished one stroke ahead of Pornanong Phatlum and Jessica Korda.
After a week off, the LPGA is set to rev up again this week as the Tour heads to the Gulf Coast for the Mobile Bay LPGA Classic.
