Over the next 12 days leading up to the new year, symetratour.com will count down the top-12 most memorable stories of the tour’s 2012 season.

The No. 6 top story of the year is slated to the 2012 Symetra Tour winners and a recap of their victories. The Tour’s depth in terms of talent was apparent this season with 15 different winners coming on a 16-event schedule.

The only two-time winner on the 2012 Symetra Tour, Esther Choe has had her fair share of ups-and-downs during her five year career as a professional.

Several players from this year’s Symetra Tour graduating class including Esther Choe, Victoria Elizabeth, Daniela Iacobelli, Julia Boland, Nicole Smith, and Sara-Maude Juneau are on-site at this week’s CME Group Titleholders getting a first-hand glimpse to life on the LPGA Tour.

It has been an up-and-down road for Esther Choe since she turned professional five years ago, but 2012 proved to be a breakout season for the Scottsdale, Ariz. native as she was named this year’s Symetra Tour’s Player of the Year.
