As the off season keeps players from competing on the Road to the LPGA, SymetraTour.com will run a new feature to keep fans in touch with the future stars of women’s golf. This edition of Time to Meet… features California native and 2012 rookie Alice Kim. The University of California-Davis alum was named the 2010 Big West Conference Player of the Year while playing for the Aggies. She was a four-time All-Big West Conference First-Team selection and was also named NCAA Division I All-American Honorable Mention in 2009.
The rookie made six cuts in 16 starts in her first season on Tour and recorded a career-best tie for fourth at the Northeast Delta Dental International. She added another top-20 finish at the season-opening Florida’s Natural Charity Classic where she finished T15. See what LPGA player she admires, what other professional sport she would like to compete in and who would play her in the movie filmed about her life.
