As the off season keeps players from competing on the Road to the LPGA, SymetraTour.com will run a new feature to keep fans in touch with the future stars of women’s golf. This edition of Time to Meet… features Oklahoma native and three-year member Kendall Dye. The University of Oklahoma alum recorded two wins with the Sooners and tied for medalist honors at the 2009 Big 12 Conference Women’s Golf Championship. She was also a two-time winner of the Oklahoma State Amateur Stroke Play Championship (2007-2008). Dye turned pro after graduation and went on to record her first professional wins on the Cactus Tour. She recorded a career-best finish on the Symetra Tour in 2011 at the South Shore Championship where she tied for fifth. In 2012, Dye had a season-best finish T8 at the Challenge at Musket Ridge. See what song is most played on the former Sooner’s iPod, what she considers to be the hardest thing she has ever done and the best meal she’s had while traveling on the road.
