SYMETRA TOUR: Who is your favorite Summer Olympics athlete?
SMITH:
Ian Thorpe aka The Thorpedo!
SYMETRA TOUR: What is your favorite sport to watch in the Summer Olympics?
SMITH: I love watching the diving & gymnastics, two sports I have never tried & would never have even thought about trying when I was younger.
SYMETRA TOUIR: Which country do you think will win the most medals?
SMITH:
USA
SYMETRA TOUR: Do you think Michael Phelps will win gold in all the events he swims?

Individual - Table Tennis, SO COOL!! Team - It's a tough one between Basketball & Field Hockey.
SYMETRA TOUR: Do you prefer the Summer or Winter Olympics?
SMITH:

SYMETRA TOUR: Which Summer Olympics sport would you never want to try?
SMITH:
Not interested in Fencing at all.
SYMETRA TOUR: Which sport did you have no idea was in the Olympics?
SMITH:
Trampoline. What??
SYMETRA TOUR: If you were on the gymnastics team which event would you want to participate in?
SMITH:
Floor for sure.
SYMETRA TOUR: If you were on a synchronized swimming team, what LPGA/Symetra Tour players would you want on your team?
SMITH:
So I had to google this one again to see how many team mates I'd be allowed and it says between 4-8. My girls would be Steph Na, Emma De Groot, Rebecca Flood, Bree Arthur, Becky Brewerton, Suzann Petterson.
SYMETRA TOUR: How do you feel about golf being added to the Olympics in 2016?
SMITH:
I think it's fantastic and it's definitely one of my long term goals to make the team. To be able to represent my country in the Olympics would be amazing! Being from Australia we don't get the chance to participate in any real team events like The Solheim Cup so it's a great chance to show the world what we got.
SYMETRA TOUR: Is making the 2016 Olympics a goal of yours?
SMITH:
As I said in the question above it's now a HUGE goal of mine. I will be 28 years old & hopefully peaking in my career on the LPGA.
SYMETRA TOUR: What sport did Margaret Abbott play to become the first U.S. woman to win Olympic gold, in 1900?
SMITH:
No idea as I'm not very good with history but I googled her and it apparently was golf. Hey that's pretty neat!!
SYMETRA TOUR: What would it mean to you to carry the Olympic Torch for your country?
SMITH:
If I got the chance to do that it would have to be one of the biggest highlights of my career. I can't even imagine how honored and proud I would feel to represent Australia in general in the Olympics let alone to carry the Olympic Torch.
