Quick Q&A with Rookie Alice Kim

Now that their rookie season is under their belts and they have had a chance to reflect on the year, SymetraTour.com caught up with several rookies for a quick Q&A. This week we catch up with Alice Kim to see what she thought about her rookie year.

Use one word to describe your rookie year?
Experience.

What did you learn about yourself and your game this year?
This year I learned that the Symetra Tour is great preparation for the LPGA and that my game needs more sharpening if I want to play on the LPGA.

Did you set goals and if so did you accomplish them?
Yes, I set goals and did not accomplish them.

What was your favorite part about this year as a rookie?
My favorite part about this year was playing courses all around the country.

What did you learn about the Symetra Tour that you didn’t know prior?
I did not know that the Symetra Tour's format was very similar to the LPGA Tour.

Do you have any funny rookie mistakes you want to share?
No.

What piece of advice would you give to next year’s rookie class?
Try to adapt to the environment as fast as you can.

What are some travel tips now that you are a seasoned traveler?
Having your own car rather than rental car during the season saves a ton of money!

How will you spend your offseason?
Try to relax, spend time with friends and family, then get ready for 2013 season!
