Natasha Andrea Oon
It is rare you see a player near the top of the Epson Tour Official Money List without a win, but Natasha Andrea Oon is doing just that during her 2023 campaign. The 22-year-old rookie has played in 16 events, only missing one cut and has seven top-10 finishes, four of which are runner-ups. Oon is one of three players this year to break the $100,000 mark in season earnings, with the other two players having won two or more tournaments, displaying just how consistent Oon has been, despite not finding the winner’s circle yet this year. The Malaysian leads the Epson Tour in scoring average at 70.021 and in top-10 finishes. It seems like just a matter of time before Oon takes home some hardware and there is no better time to do so than at the tournament with the biggest purse of the season.
Roberta Liti
Roberta Liti comes into the week as one of seven players who can clinch a 2024 LPGA Tour card with a win. Liti is currently No. 9 in the Race for the Card standings after focusing her time and energy to the Epson Tour despite being a 2023 LPGA Tour rookie. It appears the 28-year-old has made the correct decision thus far, with full LPGA Tour status in her sights and just five tournaments to play. Liti has had a strong season on the Epson Tour in 2023, recording four top-five finishes and leading the tour in greens in regulation, hitting the green 81.7% of the time. Even without a win, a high finish for Liti should go a long way for the rest of her season.
Kaleigh Telfer
Kaleigh Telfer has been making her way up the money list ever since her first top 10 of the season at the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Championship in early June. In her seven tournaments since that top 10, Telfer has finished outside the top 20 only three times and added another top 10 to her 2023 resume. The South African has had an impressive stretch in her last ten rounds as well, only recording one over-par round in that span. A strong finish for Telfer this week will move her up the money list and potentially into qualifying position for LPGA Q-Series.
